Last April we planted many vegetables including potatoes, onions, carrots, turnips, chives and mint in our school garden. We were participating in a programme called Incredible Edibles which provided us with the seeds.
To day the 14th of September 2018, we made soup with potatoes, onions, carrots, turnips, chives and stock cubes. It took 2 hours to make it and when it was ready, our teacher blended it to make it nice and smooth.
Once it cooled down a bit, teacher called us out and gave us each a bit of soup to try. I thought the soup was nice and thick and very tasty and very smooth. I really enjoyed the soup and I think it was worth the wait of 5 months for the vegetables to grow!
