Last Friday we had our Life Skill training given by Little Heroes First Aid.
The workshop was given to all children here at school. In this safe and fun learning environment, we learned basic life saving first aid skills including the following topics:
- What is First Aid?
- Calling for Help or 999/112
- Checking if someone is responsive
- How to check breathing
- Performing basic CPR
- How to help someone if they are choking
- Helping someone who is bleeding
- Tips on how to help with Burns / Scalds
Each of the students received a Little Heroes First Aid Guide, Little Heroes First Aid Certificate and a Little Heroes First Aid Sticker on completion of the workshop.
