Our school experience has been a positive one. Castlegal school is not just about education, it is so much more than that. As a small school, there is a wonderful sense of family and our two children feel safe and supported here. They are fortunate to get to mix with all age groups within the school in a supportive and friendly environment.
The opportunities that this school has afforded our children are fantastic, such as numerous nature talks, nature walks, sports activities such as swimming, tennis, GAA, and orienteering, playpark trips and musical instrument lessons as well as the annual events such as the school tour, sports day, Christmas play etc. A fortnightly assembly also provides the children an opportunity to showcase their talents while fostering their sense of self-esteem.
We as parents feel very fortunate that our two children get to attend this school and are very happy to recommend it to any parent hoping to find a warm and nurturing environment for their child.
